Charity Tournement Glorious Day!

Sunday, the 28th March 2009, Shah United began the day with playing a 2nd round
against Barma. Barma lead the game with 1-0 on the scoreline.
Shah United player, Rosazly @ Mamat scored through penalty when Hadzar was tackled inside the penalty area.

The Game ended with a score 1-1 and decided through penalty kick.
Shah United won the match with score of 4-2.

On the next round, Quarter Final, Shah United played against Pega Star 'B'. The game was thrilled. Everyone in the hall were defintely enjoyed the game! It was a fair game against 2 good team. United have to work a little bit hard in order to win the match they deserved.
The game ended 1-0 where the goal was scored by Abd Muiz @ Ewet.

In the Semi Final, Shah United met P.nat FC. It was a quite fair game as well with the game draw with score 1-1. Where P.nat FC managed to sneak a late goal to level the game.
Again, the game have to be decided through penalty!
Shah United won the penalty kick with a score 4-2!

The final game was against BIMP EAGA 2008. They were indeed a very good and strong team. They were the Brunei representative for BIMP EAGA 2008. They have beaten few good team on a way to the final. They were expected to be the finalists from the beginning of the tournement as they are more experienced then the others.
But, Shah United were not new to them and they were not new to Shah United as well.
Shah United players were mentally and physically ready!
They were upbeated and really well motivated to win the trophy!
In the game, they managed to control situation, winning ball and focus most of the time during game.
Shah United miss the chances to score early when Mohd Fakhri spot kick was saved brilliantly by the BIMP EAGA 2008 Goalkeeper.
Shah United managed to scored 2 goals throughout the game.
The 1st goal scored by Abd Rahim @ Rahym and the second goal was an own goal but declared by Abd Muiz @ Ewet.
The game was very fascinating and very very interesting!
Skill, flick and everything were there!
It was very thrilling match!

After the final whistle by the referee, it's United who declared as a Champion of the Tournement! Shah United were very well deserved to be the champion!
It was the 2nd tournement Shah United won for this year after winning a trophy back in January in KL.

It was also announced later after the game that Shah United player wearing Jersey No 7, Abd Muiz @ Ewet was declared as Best Player and get the awards.

Charity Tournament @ MPH

Shah United will be participating the Futsal Charity Tournament organized by Youth and Sports department in Multi Purpose Hall, Berakas. 45 teams all together registered for the tournament.

Shah United had been drawn in Group C which consists of 5 team.

Group C will be playing later in the afternoon at 3 pm.

2 top team of this group will proceed to the 2nd round which will be held on 29th March.

We hope Shah United Players will play ABOVE their BEST, more focus and more determine and proceed to the next round for a very rewarding rewards. :)
