It was a 50-50 match, where we were playing for five set against UBD Student.
The result were as follows:
1st set 1-1(15min)
2nd set 2-2(15min)
3rd set 1-2(15min)
4th set 2-1(15min)
5th set 1-1(25min)

It was a two set game where the home team was  clearly a very much experienced team.

The results was as follows :
1st set 6-0(25min)
2nd set 2-2(25min)


HOME TEAM BACKGROUND

The team from Limbang, TIGER FC, has been Champion for 3 times in Limbang and two time Champion in Miri.

LESSON LEARNT

It was a good experience  and exposure for Shah United team, especially for the new players where they were clearly nervous when they 1st played during the match (1st set). 

The atmosphere in the indoor stadium was crazy, where the supporter was chanting for the home team. It effects the confidence of the new players as well and of course boosted the confidence of the home team.

After the team talk, just before the 2nd set, we learnt a lesson and manage to hold the home team and at least got a draw out of it.

The most important thing is, I hope all the players can learn something out of the match and can applied it for our next AWAY friendly match. 

Our Next destination for AWAY friendly match will be VERY INTERESTING!!

TO ALL SHAH UNITED PLAYERS AND COMMITTEES , WE WILL HAVING FRIENDLY MATCH AGAINST ONE OF THE BEST TEAM IN LIMBANG. THOSE PLAYERS WHO WILLING TO BE SELECTED, PLEASE DO COME FOR ALL OF OUR TRAINING TO SHOW YOUR COMMITMENT.

THE FRIENDLY MATCH WILL BE HELD ON 20TH SEPTEMBER 2008.
WE WILL DEPART FROM BRUNEI(KUALA LURAH) ROUGHLY AT 1600hrs, AND ESTIMATED ARRIVAL IN BANDAR LIMBANG IS 1730hrs (macam naik kapal terbang saja). WE'LL CHECK IN AND PUT OUR "LUGGAGE" IN THE HOTEL. WE ARE GOING TO STAY AT PURNAMA HOTEL(Yeeeehaaa!!!). AFTER CHECKING IN, WE'LL HAVING OUR SUNGKAI AT SYARIKAT SARIMAH HOUSE OF CURRY AT AROUND 1830hrs (Kana belanja ketani oleh Manager!! Another Yeeeehaaaa!! Tapinya make sure makan sikit coz kan belawan, bagi pemain lah. For committee, kita makan sampai muntah.it saja Hahah).

AFTER MAHGRIB, ISYAK AND TERAWIH PRAYER @ LIMBANG MOSQUE, WE GONNA PREPARE OURSELVES FOR THE GAME AS OUR FRIENDLY MATCH WILL START AT 2100hrs @ LIMBANG SPORT CENTER HALL (orang ramai adalah dialu-alukan hadir. Hehehe).

MESSAGE TO THE PLAYERS : PLEASE TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THIS OPPORTUNITY AS YOU WILL GAIN EXPERIENCE PLAYING 'ABROAD'. FOR YOUR INFO, THIS IS THE SECOND FRIENDLY MATCH SHAH UNITED FUTSAL CLUB HAS BEEN PLAYED OUTSIDE BRUNEI. THE 1st ONE WAS PLAYED IN LABUAN IN JUNE (more to come!! This is just a beginning!! So for the players, stay put when you want to! Loyalty is a factor here).


15 PLAYERS WILL BE SELECTED INCLUDING THE NEW PLAYERS. YOUR EXPENSES WILL BE COVERED BY THE CLUB (kecuali perbelanjaan seperti hadiah untuk girlfriend/tunang/bini kamu, barang2 persendirian atau yang sewaktu dengannya, atu tanggung sendiri lah. Paham-paham tah kamu tu... Hehehe).

After a Success on organizing our 'The Very First' tournament, (as you can see in the Poll Vote, where our tournament was rated excellent Tournament and the other Poll Vote was recommended that we ( Shah United Futsal Club)

should do another Tournament.

Therefore, Shah United Will be organizing a second tournament early next year, where the Grand Prize for the Champion will be $2500 (even when there are only 10 team registering).

This Tournament will be done in the conjunction of THE 25th BRUNEI NATIONAL DAY (Jubli Perak)

So, for those who willing to join, make sure you have/prepare 18 players on your team(s). (The organizers still hold to the previous policies on the tournament that every team may bring/import B League players but limited to 2 players only for each team.). So recruit new young generations/not so young or even an oldies to play for your team.

Why 18 players ??? (Too many?) Well, just relax and prepare them. We will keep that with us until Our Form distribute. This will be a very different tournament from any tournament that you had join. Interesting isn't it so??

I'm excited with this. I hope all of you guys does!
